At the time of this interview, Rex’s last coaching role was as an Assistant Coach for Head Coach Stan Van Gundy of the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans. He was also the Assistant Coach for Stan when they both coached for the NBA’s Detroit Pistons. Since the interview, Rex was the Assistant Coach of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, and most recently is serving as the Head Coach of Waterford Kettering High School Boys Basketball in Waterford, Michigan.
