Episode 35 – Garrett Boorojian and Jim “Jimbo” Covert discuss relationship building in a team environment.
Jim is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the 1985 Chicago Bears franchise of the National Football League that won Super Bowl 20 and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. At Pittsburgh, Jim played alongside my former ESPN colleague and Pittsburgh legend Mark May (also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame) and Pittsburgh legend Dan Marino (who’s a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame).
I met Jim’s legendary Chicago Bears’ Super Bowl-winning head coach, Mike Ditka, and one of his former teammates, Richard Dent, who was the Super Bowl MVP that year. (Both Mike and Richard are members of both the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame).
